Carla Gama
Head of Visiting Care
Carla Gama is a highly experienced Care Director who joined the Trinity Homecare Group in July 2022. Based in the West Region (visiting care), she is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of operational goals and objectives to ensure they are delivered in line with the group strategic plan. Carla is extremely proud to work with a wonderful team of managers and has a passion for leading and supporting operational teams to deliver outstanding care services to clients, enabling people to live well at home for as long as they wish.
With over 15 years of experience in the care industry, Carla holds a Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion. Her previous roles have included nursing home manager and Registered Manager at Riverstone, a Goldman Sachs owned business specialising in high-quality retirement living. At The Good Care Group, Carla was responsible for the successful delivery of care to clients in various areas across the UK. She line managed six Care Managers and the care team, ensuring the business remained competitive by maximising contact with key care professionals.
Carla's interest in care started at a young age, and she has a real passion for making a difference. In her free time, Carla enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and creating new memories with her children. She is also a keen horse rider and has a love for horses that dates back to her childhood.
Carla currently supports several companies within the Trinity Homecare Group, including Berkeley Home Health Somerset and Wiltshire, Berkeley Home Health Surrey, Genuine Care, Premier Homecare, and Trinity Homecare. Her role covers Surrey, Kent, Somerset and Bristol

Her qualifications include a Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion, and she has more than 15 years of experience in the care industry.
Carla's previous experience includes working for The Good Care Group for nearly a decade, where she was responsible for the successful delivery of care to clients across multiple areas in the South of England. As the Registered Manager for a bespoke care service created in partnership with Riverstone, a Goldman Sachs-owned business, Carla was involved in setting up the business model, writing policies and procedures, and developing IT systems to support the business.
Carla's passion for caring for others began at a young age, when she started doing voluntary work. She has since dedicated her career to leading and supporting operational teams to deliver outstanding care services to clients, as well as enabling people to live well at home for as long as they wish.
In her role at Trinity Homecare Group, Carla supports a number of the company's subsidiaries, including Berkeley Home Health Somerset and Wiltshire, Berkeley Home Health Surrey, Genuine Care, Premier Homecare, and Trinity Homecare. Her dedication and commitment to the care industry make her an invaluable member of the Trinity Homecare Group team.

Emma Bateman
Regional Trainer
Emma has a detailed career in the Health and Social care sector spanning beyond 20 years. She has a plethora of experience and knowledge from working both directly and indirectly with service users and clients in a range of settings. Emma has undertaken a wealth of qualifications and educational courses over the years, enhancing her own knowledge and skills.
As a qualified Trainer, Emma can deliver current information combined with demonstrations of good practice and share from her own experiences giving our carers the best start in their career.

Virginia Thomas
Field Care Supervisor
Virginia Thomas joined us in 2021. Virginia is our Surrey Field Care Supervisor and has worked in the industry for over 2 years. Virginia has a strong passion for ensuring that the care provided by Berkeley is tailored to each client and is person centred. With her knowledge of the Care Support Workers, she ensures the Care Workers are fully trained, regular spot checked and are always at their best ability for each client.
Our Carers
Our live-in carers at Berkeley Home Health are experts in the field. They receive specialist in-house induction training along with ongoing refresher training to keep their skills up-to-date with industry best practise. They are fully vetted, interviewed, have excellent references and are in receipt of an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). They will always arrive on time and greet you with a welcoming smile, remaining polite and helpful at all times.
