About Your Dementia Carer
We ensure that your Berkeley carer is the very best. They are expertly trained to recognise the various types of dementia, its symptoms, and how the disease impacts daily life including loss of memory, word-finding difficulties and other cognitive abilities to provide the very best dementia care at home.
Your carer will know how to manage the challenges that living with dementia brings while being mindful that each person is affected differently and requires their own unique support plan. Your dementia carer is there to help support with the things your loved one is struggling with, and in advanced cases, do whatever your loved one can no longer do for themselves. Your carer will prompt, reassure and encourage as much as possible to enable your loved one to continue to live as normal a life as possible, for as long as possible.
Flexible dementia care at home
At Berkeley Home Health we can provide live-in care to most counties in southern England and visiting care local to six of our five branches. Whether to choose live-in care or visiting care for your loved one, depends very much of the level of care required and the individual’s circumstance and preference.
We understand that as well as the level of care required, you may also need flexibility around the length of care and how soon it needs to be in place. Discover more about our types of care and flexible options:
