Our care services

Your support, our passion

Berkeley Home Care is dedicated to providing high-quality support for those who want to live happily in their own homes. We provide a wide range of care services and pride ourselves in being able to offer home care for anyone in any situation.

We have a management team with thirty years’ experience in providing the highest standards in everything we do for our clients, their relatives and friends, the wider community and our carers. We are passionate in the belief that our clients deserve the best possible lifestyle options in their own environment, where they can lead a happy, fulfilling life.

Home care for older people

Leaving your home to live in a care home can be traumatic, which is why we offer home care services to help people live in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. We can offer additional help a few times per week or even as a full-time live-in arrangement to maintain a good quality of life without the stress and upheaval of moving to a residential care home.

Our home care options include care for people with specialist requirements as well as more general support for people who are simply a little less mobile than they once were. This is an increasingly popular alternative around the country and helps to maintain independence.

Offering a real alternative to life in a care home

Support for older people in their own home is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to moving into a care home. We understand the importance of promoting and maintaining independence, helping maintain regular routines and having as normal a life as possible. From companionship through to personal care and to higher-level personal needs, our team can help nearly anyone to stay at home.

  • Avoids the trauma of potential separation from a loved one or treasured pet, or giving up living in familiar surroundings and the potential loss of freedom and independence

  • Support at home is entirely possible even for those with specialist care requirements, with costs typically comparable to those associated with residential care

  • Fully tailored to the needs of the individual. Our support offers significant benefits over residential care, allowing you or your loved one to continue to live independently in the comfort and security of your own home

  • Enjoy your favourite activities and remain part of your local community

  • Greater flexibility. We can provide just a few hours of care per week which can be increased as needs change

  • Live-in support is the ultimate level of care and has the benefit of true continuity

Sade Kur, Business Manager

I have spent my whole career in health and social care. Supporting people to live in their own homes is such rewarding and fulfilling work.

As the Business Manager of the Surrey Branch I have had the privilege of being able to build on the company’s strong tradition of delivering care with compassion and kindness. A great part of what I do is ensuring carers receive the best training and support to provide exceptional care and support.

I have a close family member who has lived with Parkinson’s disease for many years and has carers to help her at home. I understand just how important it is to have a reliable and professional care provider involved in the care of a loved one.

Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our cat ‘Triggs’ and visiting places of interest by the sea and in the countryside.

A highly skilled and trained team

Whether you choose live-in care or visiting care, we focus on ensuring peace of mind, dignity and respect at all times.

Every member of the care team is enrolled in on-going training to top up their skills. Our senior carers do further study (in dementia care for example) to deepen their expertise and bring specialised knowledge to their roles.

But because there are some skills you can only learn on the job, every new recruit goes through a thorough induction training and shadows an established member of the team to get practical experience before they start care-giving.

When you phone the office, one of our dedicated team will be happy to discuss all your home care needs.

Tailored care personalised to your needs

We offer a highly personalised home care service designed to support a range of needs, conditions and circumstances.

At the core of our philosophy is to ensure we offer tailored home care that is unique to each person. This means our expert Care Management team is able to create a bespoke flexible solution that offers the right amount of support for you and your care needs.

We know that our clients’ needs don’t necessarily fit into a category, so please call us to discuss your individual situation and to book a free, no-obligation, care assessment.

Our professional carers genuinely care

We are experts in our field. With all carers receiving specialist in-house induction training along with ongoing refresher training to keep their skills up-to-date with industry best practise. They are fully vetted, interviewed, have good references and are in receipt of an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

They will always arrive on time and greet you with a welcoming smile, remaining polite and helpful at all times. At Berkeley Home Care, we only recruit those who we would feel confident caring for our own family – the very best!

We know that most people would prefer to be cared for in their own homes and since 2011 the company has provided care for hundreds of people. During our steady growth the focus has always been to strive towards an excellent standard of care and delivering a highly personal service with our highly trained and compassionate carers. Potential clients are welcome to visit our offices to discuss possible care and support needs. We have a comfortable meeting room where a member of the care management care team will happily explain the levels of support we are able to offer. We are proud of our care team who, over the years have won, and been shortlisted for, many health care and other business awards. Our carers are proud to be a part of such a professional team!
