The Salvation Army and Winchester Homeless Shelter
This Christmas, at Berkeley Home Health we are proud to be supporting two local charities including the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal and food donations for Winchester Homeless Shelter.
Until December 11th, Salvation Army churches across the UK are busy collecting new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. If you wish to support this fantastic cause with us, please find your nearest donation centre here: www.salvationarmy.org.uk/christmas-present-appeal. Alternatively, get in touch with the Southeast team by emailing southeast@berkeleyhomehealth.com or calling us on 0333 0160 732. As you can see, Laura and the team have already made a great start on their toy donations.
The Berkeley team are also busy collecting food donations to help the Winchester Churches Nightshelter which has provided a vital lifeline to the homeless living in Hampshire since 1988. Supporting over 140 – 200 homeless people yearly through comfortable accommodation, nutritious food and a safe and caring temporary home, the shelter relies on generous donations to help enable people rebuild their lives and escape homelessness for good. To find out more, please see their website www.wcns.org.uk/about/ or get in touch with the Berkeley Team who will be very happy to help. Any donations will be so gratefully received.
