Every month each Berkeley Home Health branch awards a ‘Carer of the Month’ nominated by peers and mangers. Nominees are recognised for one of the following behaviours: integrity, trust, excellence, positivity, efficiency, empathy and teamwork.
East of England: Gemma
Gemma, a carer for our East of England branch, has been nominated for carer of the month. She has gone above and beyond to work with a client to understand their care needs and working with the office and family to get some extra support, ensuring the client could remain in the comfort of their home. Gemma volunteered to pick up extra shifts enabling us to facilitate the extra care needs of the client and ensure care consistency.
Sasha, Business Manager for the branch congratulated Gemma saying:
“Gemma is a credit to the branch always positive and highly motivated, always looking for ways to improve clients quality of life.”
Northwood: Pushpa
Pushpa, Northwood branch’s carer of the month, has been working as a carer at Berkeley Home Health since 2019.
Amy, Business Manager of the branch said of Pushpa’s nomination:
“Pushpa is always the first carer we know we can call in an emergency and is always reliable. She strives to deliver her best to her clients. Pushpa is also so helpful with new members of the team, willing to have them shadow her to ensure all clients are comfortable with new carers to the team. A true credit to the team.”
South East: Riina
Riina is a live-in carer for our South East branch and has been with us since 2015. Riina was nominated for carer of the month as she is a very proactive carer and has built up a great working relationship with clients and their representatives.
Sonia, Business Manager for the branch praised Riina saying,:
“Riina is a fabulous carer. We are always receiving praise from her clients and client representatives. She is thoroughly deserving of this recognition.”
Riina has built good working relationships with clients POA and they have praised her efficiency.
Sussex: Katie
Sussex branch carer, Katie, was nominated for carer of the month. This is Katie’s first carer role.
Liz, Business Manager, said of the nomination:
“I am so pleased that Katie has received this recognition. Katie is an amazing carer; nothing seems to faze her. She will pick up calls whenever she can, and we have been receiving fabulous feedback from her clients.”
Winchmore Hill: Rayon
Carer Rayon has been nominated as this month’s Carer of month for our Winchmore Hill Branch. Rayon has been recognised as he always strives to deliver the very best care service.
Amy, Joint Business Manager of Northwood and Winchmore Hill congratulated Rayon, saying:
“Rayon is extremely flexible and always strives to deliver his best level of service to his clients. He has built good working relationships with the team and his clients and he is always willing to alter his availability to support our branch take on new packages of care. Rayon is a valued member of the team.”
