Sasha Lunn was nominated for the Registered Manager Award. Unfortunately, she was not a winner this time, but she truly deserved a finalist place. Sasha always goes the extra mile not just with clients, but her team too. Sasha is always at the end of the phone for her care team no matter what time. An example of this was when she went to the aid of a carer whose car had broken down at 11.30pm. In the hot weather she not only ensured all carers were watching out for signs of heat issues for clients, but she kept the branch fridge stocked full of drinks and snacks for the carers to pop in and take as they needed.
Sasha truly shows care for her clients too, ensuring she knows each all of her client’s names and care needs, monitoring any change in needs. Sasha has taken time out of her personal time to go food shopping for a client that a carer reported as not having any food in the house, stopping on the way to cook up a meal and take to the client.
