We have been providing live-in and visiting care for those in cardiac rehabilitation for over 20 years. Whether your loved one is living with a long-term heart condition or you are recovering from a heart attack yourself, our compassionate and dedicated carers can provide much needed care to allow life to continue in the comfort and familiarity of home.
Our Care Managers will create a bespoke care plan reflective of individual needs and requirements, as well as taking into account personality so we match the most suited carer on our books. We know that many of those undergoing cardiac rehabilitation are younger than our other clients living with conditions such as dementia or loss of mobility, and this is taken in account when matching a carer.
Our care plans are completely tailored around individual client needs. This may include:
- Personal care
- Household duties
- Meal preparation
- Help with mobility
- Picking up prescriptions
- Companionship
- Pet care
A major aspect of cardiac recovery is regaining functional fitness levels again. This is why our excellent carers are also able to help encourage healthy behaviours and support with rehabilitation where possible.
RATED AND RECOGNISED
FLEXIBLE HEART RECOVERY CARE AT HOME
At Berkeley Home Health, we can provide live-in care to most counties in southern England and visiting care local to six of our five branches. Whether to choose live-in care or visiting care for your loved one, depends very much of the level of care required and the individual’s circumstance and preference.
We understand that as well as the level of care required, you may also need flexibility around the length of care and how soon it needs to be in place. Discover more about our types of care and flexible options:
Live-In Heart Care
Our fully trained carers move into the home of your loved one and provide full-time care and support according to their personalised care plan and specific needs, day and night.
Visiting Heart Care
A compassionate local carer will visit your loved one for a few hours at a time. This can be as occasional as one hour a week to a couple of visits a day depending of your needs.
Respite Heart Care
Short term care to provide family and friends with some relief which can be booked to cover regular breaks or as a one-off. This could be holiday accompaniment to support your loved one while you enjoy a rest for example.
Home from Hospital Heart Care
Short term care to help with post-operative recovery or after a hospital stay to provide the reassurance that someone is on hand and help your loved one recover as quickly as possible.
Emergency Heart Care
Whether, your relative has had an unexpected heart issue, they are ready to return home from hospital earlier than planned, or you’ve been let down by your current care provider, we are able to provide emergency care at home within 24 hours.
Trial our service
For a minimum of three days, our trial service offers you the opportunity to meet and get to know your carer a little more, as well as experience all the personalised support provided, before fully committing to the service.
